The Norwegian Association for Sports Law
The Norwegian Association for Sports Law (Norsk Idrettsjuridisk Forening/NIJF) was formed in 2000, with the purpose of spreading knowledge and creating debate about sports-related legal issues.
The association arranges meetings with lectures and discussions 3-4 times a year, and our aim is to act as a link between the various fractions that deal with sports law on a regular basis. The cooperation with similar associations in other countries is also an important part of our work.
